We are interested in finding a person who wants to join an early stage startup. He will perfect our development server which will include re-installing it many times and writing many documents and scripts.

It might be fun because you'll do something different than just fiddle-and-fix. It might be lame because you'll have to re-install, perfect and document the same server, over and over.

The requirements are:

5+ years of Linux system administration

Ability to write scripts, using bash, awk, Perl or Python

Ability to troubleshoot simple networks

Perfectionist sensibility (as opposed to hacker sensibility)

Willingness to do things our way, not yours

Willingness to take full responsibility for system administration

Willingness to work with and teach network newbies

Interest in VPNs

Experience with Debian is a plus

Living in the Silicon Valley from San Jose to Mountain View

We are interested in finding a person who wants to join an early stage startup. He would be responsible for setting up and maintaining IDEs, e-mail and source code control. He will work directly with developers, visiting them whereever they work, and with our system administrator.

The requirements are:

Familiarity with Visual C++ software development

Interest in both Windows and Linux

Interest in investigating and learning new development tools

Interest in build systems
